Where are you at this week in terms of your energy? Are you building up in momentum or feeling run-down with all the sorting and purging going on energetically and physically? I’m somewhere in between these energies!

Virgo is a sign which is associated with organisation, perfectionism and also just being a loving/mothering kind of vibe too – so I’m feeling like this weekend we might collectively be pulled to really organise things at home, throw out the things that aren’t feeling like us anymore, with particular focus on our image – so a wardrobe cull – as well as a cull in the lover and friendship department too, if that’s something you need to do! ha!

Following with that vibe, our little animal messenger this week is the bird of paradise – an animal I’m new to exploring, and one I just had to quickly mock up an illustration of since we haven’t worked with him before. Isn’t he beautiful? Watch this clip too of one in action. They are so funny (and beautiful!)!

I’m coming down off a couple of really intense work weeks, and looking forward to some much-needed self-love and care this weekend, just in time for the full moon which is all about this!

Don’t forget to check out our beautiful new collection tooif you haven’t already. I’m so proud of this one.

Here’s our magical message for this Friday’s full moon in Virgo.

 Desire – Self-love – Flamboyance

Kin Essence – “We can unlock our deepest desires when holding gentle yet persuasive intentions”

The bird of paradise is a beautiful Australasian bird I haven’t had a good chance to explore until now, and I’ve quickly fallen in love with this guys energy and would love to share with you what I believe his message to us can be! The first thing I think of when I see this beautiful bird, is obviously his divine plumage. Similar to a peacock, he puts on a show for his potential lovers but adds in some (fully) sick dance moves to help sell himself and his luscious self.

This bird reminds us to fully embody our sexual energy and creative powers in order to attract the right people into our lives. It’s time to ditch and let go of those who are not worthy of our energy and efforts and instead to connect with those who see us in our power, and love us for it. Celebrating together whilst still allowing us as individuals to shine and continue to be amazing and carry on our journey, regardless of what we are offering them. I liken this to a self-love vibe, that you respect yourself first, and others will match this back. Your decisions will thus also be respected, whether you choose to mate, play, create, hang with them or not.

Bergamot, Myrtle, Wild Orange, Sandalwood, Tea Tree, Frankincense, Myrrh, Spruce, Chamomile, Lavender, Vetiver, Cedarwood, OR intuitive select your own based on how you feel at this particular time. – I’m going with citrus and florals this particular full moon – favs being lemongrass and Geranium.

The full moon is the peak of the lunar cycle as the illuminated face of the moon is now 100% visible to earth. This is the most popular and well known of the moon cycles, and most prominent externally and internally.

Symbolically it is said that this is a time where we are brimming with energy, feeling inspired, productive, working hard and playing hard! The subconscious is at its highest point at this time so is great for psychic development and experiences, creative expression, releasing energy and self-expression. If we are feeling unbalanced, we can quite literally become ‘lunatics’ where emotions are heightened and awakened and can over saturate us.

Work with this energy to remind you to let go of the things that are no longer serving you, to release any internal pressure or built up emotional, physical or mental baggage and to cleanse your soul with more nourishing and mindful practices. Remember to be kind, let it all go and to release and cleanse yourself in mind, body and spirit. To also make realisations and see, with full illumination, our manifestations and achievement thus far. The energy is ripe and ready!

Some great ways we can really tap into and work with the monthly energy of a full moon is to purge and cleanse whatever we can. Here are some great suggestions to work into your schedule the next time one rolls around to get the most out of this very healing and cathartic time on our calendar.
